The Institute of Biotechnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IBT) was awarded the prestigious HR Excellence in Research Award by the European Commission. This award recognizes IBT's commitment to continuously improving working conditions for researchers and maintaining high standards in human resources in research.

The HR Award is granted to research institutions that implement a human resources strategy aligned with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The goal is to ensure open, fair, and professional recruitment procedures, equal opportunities, and high standards in research career development.

"Receiving the HR Award is a strong signal that IBT places great emphasis not only on scientific results but also on the people behind them. We strive to be a place where researchers can thrive, grow, and feel supported," said prof. Ing. Bohdan Schneider, CSc. DrSc., Director of the Institute.
