IBT Student Day

In April, the 4th IBT Student Day took place at the BIOCEV campus. The conference, organized by PhD students of the Institute of Biotechnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, offered a full-day program of scientific presentations and discussions.

The program was structured into several thematic sessions featuring talks by PhD students and invited speakers across molecular and cellular biology. It also included a poster session and a panel discussion focused on science communication. The event maintained a friendly and open atmosphere throughout the day, encouraging exchange of ideas and new collaborations.

Both the jury and the audience recognized outstanding contributions. The Audience Award for Best Presentation was given to Adéla Karhanová, while the Jury Award went to Laura Lebrón Mora. In the poster category, Pavel Jakoubě received the Audience Award and Šárka Kohoutová was awarded by the jury.

Special thanks go to the PhD Committee for organizing the event. The high quality of both the scientific program and accompanying activities reflected the significant effort of the organizers and presenters, contributing to an overall highly successful event.
